The Juráň valley nature trail starts in Oravice and continues along the following route: the crossroads Pod Šatanovou – the mouth of the Juráň valley – the Umrlá saddle – the crossroads under Umrlá – the crossroads under Suchá dolina – Oravice. The whole crossing takes about 3 hours and the elevation on the route reaches 240 m. The route is marked first by a red and then by a blue hiking sign. The Juráňova dolina gorge and the section leading through the Umrlá saddle up to the crossroads Pod Umrlou are closed for safety reasons in the period from 1 November to 30 April. Please respect this restriction and adjust your hiking plans outside of this period.
